On 16 June 2026, Dr Arvind Gupta had the privilege of presenting an educational seminar to members of the Indian Association Manukau New Zealand (IAMNZ), focusing on age-related eye conditions and the importance of maintaining good eye health.
Recognising that education is one of the most effective ways to empower individuals to take charge of their wellbeing, IAMNZ invited Dr Gupta to share his expertise and help attendees better understand common eye conditions associated with ageing. The session covered key symptoms to look out for, the impact of conditions such as diabetes on vision, and the treatment pathways available to support long-term eye health.
Using clear explanations and visual diagrams, Dr Gupta guided attendees through the importance of regular eye examinations, early detection, and preventative care. The interactive presentation encouraged questions and discussion, providing valuable information in an accessible and engaging format.
