Dr Shuan Dai has been in demand this October for his expertise in the fields of strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology with roles speaking and chairing sessions at the following conferences:
10th - 12th October at the Inaugural Asia Pacific Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Society Conference in Hong Kong
13th - 15th October at the American Association of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and Chinese Paediatric Ophthalmology Society Joint Congress in Shanghai
17th - 18th October at the Beijing University Paediatric Ophthalmology Seminar in Beijing
Topics he presented included Paediatric cataract Surgery; Strabismus Surgery and Paediatric retinal diseases.
In addition to this the Chinese Ophthalmology Society and Chinese Paediatric Ophthalmology Society awarded him along with four other foreign scholars (one from Moorfields UK, three from USA) to recognise their significant contribution to the development of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in China.
