Dr Andrew Riley attended the Macular Degeneration New Zealand Race Day at Ellerslie on Saturday. Over $20,000 was raised for the Macular Degeneration charitable trust which has a vision to provide awareness, education and support to those who suffer from Macular Degeneration.
Macular Degeneration affects 1 in 7 people over 50 and is the most common cause of blindness in New Zealand.
